The Game Awards

It was incredible to art direct the stage visuals for the highly anticipated The Game Awards.

Our goal was to play with the perception of space; to transform the stage into something that felt like a transparent container, a dimensional volume you could see through rather than just look at. We explored a wide range of spatial illusions and structural ideas early on, pushing scale, depth, and materiality in different directions.

From those explorations, we fell in love with three core concepts. For each, we developed two distinct color stories, one warm, one cold, allowing the environment to shift emotionally while maintaining a cohesive visual language.

The brilliant Andrew Proctor led the creative vision, Craig Stouffer steered the design direction, and Anastasia Skrebneva executed every detail to perfection. It was a true collaboration, and an unforgettable experience bringing it to life on such a monumental stage.
